By noon on Monday, Miami-Dade managed to recount about half of the more than 800,000 votes cast in the 2018 election. Broward County had not yet started its state-mandated recount.
The stark contrast in pace from Floridas two largest sources of ballots highlights the pressure facing Broward as it tries to meet a Thursday afternoon deadline to recount the more than 700,000 votes cast in the largely Democratic county.

Broward can’t start until they know how many they need to manufacture.
TRUTH.
The ***holes in the Broward sh*thole wants to make sure they have the ballots completed to steal this election they way they stole it for Communist Barbie in Arizona.
All returns from Broward county should be rejected. An election was not held there as evidenced by the fact the voting totals were not returned in a timely manner.
Gospel truth.
Notice how it is always the liberal areas that turn in LAST
NO precinct’s totals should EVER be revealed until 100% of precincts have turned in their totals.
No early results posted. There should only be ONE announcement of the total.
Please President Trump / Governor Scott - you MUST seize the Broward County ballots NOW. Take control of the vote counting. Surely that is possible.
It would be a simple matter to get a small group of tech people into a room to design a state-of-the-art election system. You could determine requirements and parameters for a basic design in a day or two (a Washington committee would take a decade).
You could make it cheap, auditable, and essentially simultaneous. No one should know any state vote counts until they know 100% of the state vote counts. Or maybe no state releases any vote counts until all states are ready to release 100% of their vote counts.
Designing this would not be hard.
While we have our own troubles up here in the frozen North, our elections seem to have fewer problems for several reasons, some of them being:
All races use paper ballots.
NO results in a time zone are released until ALL the polls in that time zone are closed.
A minimum of two poll workers supervise the ballot boxes at all times.
Districts (ridings) are delineated by an impartial panel after census.
Broward cant start until they know how many they need to manufacture.
Releasing the results based on time zone is not a good idea. Some states cross more than one time zone and the results should not be released until all polls in that state are closed.
Well I guess we have to change the saying. I always thought democrats followed the “vote early and vote often” mantra in every election. I guess it is “vote late and vote often” now.
When the election is over, count Broward anyway as part of an investigation.
Broward cant start because they know their final tally won't match the original tally of total ballots..............
12 states have 2 times zones. Oregon (Pacific time zone, Mountain time zone), Montana (Pacific, Mountain), North Dakota (Mountain, Central), South Dakota (Mountain, Central), Nebraska (Mountain, Central), Kansas (Mountain, Central), Texas (Mountain, Central), Michigan (Central, Eastern), Indiana (Central, Eastern), Kentucky (Central, Eastern), Tennessee (Central, Eastern), Florida (Central, Eastern)
So, these 12 states should have their results delayed until polls close in the later time zone, or the poll times can be adjusted so the polls close at the same time statewide.
The single most effective way to reduce the kind of shenanigans ongoing in FLA is to ensure that once the polls close, NO MORE BALLOTS CAN BE ACCEPTED!
NO exceptions.
Yes. Snipes is deliberately delaying the start in order not to finish on time.
Broward will miss the Thursday 7PM deadline and the current tally will stand.
The forensic audit run post election will document the fraud.
Snipes will resign before Scott & the FL Senate remove her from office.
Frankly someone has really dropped by ball by failing to anticipate this and getting leverage over the people involved to do their job the right way.
