Actually Clinton did far more damage to the military then anything Bush ever did - damage we are still paying for.

LOL, when you recruit with the promise of getting free big boobs or a sex change, what kind of an Army would you expect? Seriously? They better start producing Combat Droids.
I substantially agree. Let me name just a few problem areas off the top of my head:
1. Our Navy runs ships into other ships due to women being on board and in command.
2. To accommodate women all services put them in billets where they will, when the bullets fly, run as they did in Panama.
3. Our Special Forces, with so far the exception of the Seals, reduces it’s physical requirements so as to allow puny little women to “practice” war fighting. When a hundred thousand Russians are headed straight for them with fixed bayonets they will run like hell as god intended them to do. They are not suppose to fight. Men are! And I mean real men not confused men.
4. We allow gays in the military and spend money on sex change surgeries instead of guns and bullets and food.
5. We allow Trannies in the service.
6. WE appoint people to command positions based on sex or race not MERIT so that generals and admirals can score points with liberal politicians!
7. Upper ranks need to be purged of liberal officers appointed by Obama.
These are just a few that pop into my mind in 2 minutes. We all know about all these and we all know our beloved military has serious, serious problems that could lead to a major calamity in combat!
As a 7 year veteran myself, I find myself wondering when are Trump and Mattis going to start curing some of these blatant problems? I don’t see it. And, I worry about Mattis………..for a lot of reasons.

Not surprising. Technology only gets you so far and the Chinese and Russians are both advancing their technology to counteract ours. The mouse trap is soon thwarted.

“The National Defense Strategy Commission” is a lobbying PAC.
They want to convince the American taxpayer that advertised weapons systems from China and Russia actually work, and are deployed in numbers.
Of course that’s all bullshit as anyone currently serving can tell you.
Sure, they have SOME stuff, but by and large we can defeat both of them at the same time...but not without some loss.
Our shit works, and is deployed in numbers.

With China, they have so much money that how and where we fight would determine a lot.
Trump needs a younger, more quicker Secretary of Defense.
I respect Gen. Mattis, but he is too old for this job at this time.
America needs a young, tough, sharp Defense Secretary who can keep us out of the perpetual war in the Middle East.
Someone in their 30s and 40s with experience of the Iraq War.
The U.S. armed forces needs to be rebuilt.
If the US and China and/or Russia get into a capital W War, islam wins.
Our dear friends the saudis, or iran, or turkey would be quite happy to sacrifice 3 billion kafirs for ummah.
