Judge gives Florida voters until Saturday to correct signature problems in election recount

TALLAHASSEE — A federal court judge on Thursday ruled that thousands of voters whose votes weren’t counted because of issues with their signatures on their mail-in or provisional ballots have two more days to challenge the decision to reject their votes.

The order from U.S. District Court judge Mark Walker came hours before a 3 p.m. deadline for counties to report the results of a machine recount for the U.S. Senate, governor and agriculture commissioner contests, throwing more uncertainty over a process that faces a spate of legal challenges...[snip].....

Lawyers for the Florida Department of State and the National Republican Senatorial Committee countered that the state needs to guard against fraud and have a way to verify the identity of mail-in voters. They also pointed to testimony from Mark Earley, the Leon County Supervisor of Elections, that he has a lenient standard for reviewing signatures, only rejecting those that are obviously mismatched.

Scott is appealing the ruling.

“We are immediately appealing this baseless decision and we are confident we will prevail in the Eleventh Circuit,” Scott spokeswoman Lauren Schenone said in a released statement. “Let’s be clear- Bill Nelson’s high-priced Washington lawyers went to court to argue against a process that they previously argued for. It’s worth noting that Marc Elias is currently making THE EXACT OPPOSITE ARGUMENT in a similar case in Arizona.”

It’s unclear if the ruling will affect the deadlines set in state law for recounts.

The 3 p.m. Thursday deadline for machine recount totals will likely trigger manual recounts in the U.S. Senate and agriculture commission races, both of which were under the 0.25 percent threshold for hand recounts.

Judges don’t get to make up rules after the fact!

Hang the SoB!

On February 16, 2012, President Obama nominated Mark Walker to serve as District Judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

Well, I guess we all know where this is going.

This is just like 2000. They tried changing the rules then also, until the Supremes stepped in and said “IT’S OVER”

That would apply state-wide? If one county is allowed to do that, all counties would also.

What a freak show. At least our side is appealing.

Another Obama-appointed judge, just like Amy Totenberg in the Georgia gubernatorial race.

Mitch McConnell and the Senate GOP need to clean up this judicial rot as best they can. With the Democrats in control of the House, they might as well just spend the next two years confirming as many judges as they possibly can.

Let’s hope that Romney, Murkowski and Collins play well with those of u who want to save the Judiciary from the Leftist swamp. Lord knows that Obama and Reid put as many Dem judges in position as they could get.

The goal was always the manual recount, where they can inject as many Dem ballots as they have been able to fill out this week. Snipes refused to give a TOTAL VOTE COUNT. So we had better be careful here.

“We are immediately appealing this baseless decision and we are confident we will prevail in the Eleventh Circuit,”

11th Circuit judges by President who appointed them:

3 Trump
5 Obama
1 GWB
3 Clinton
3 GHWB
2 Reagan
1 Carter
2 Ford

That's eleven Republicans and nine Democrats.

It’s open season if this is allowed to stand.

However, that being said, where would one guess the bulk of faulty signatures lies? With democrats. Here’s why:

1. The signer is not the voter- Massive Fraud being perpetrated in nursing homes and homes for the mentally incapacitated by their trusted caretakers.

2. The signer is not the voter- Someone stealing an absentee ballot and returning it signed to the BSOE.

3. Democrats that can’t remember how to sign their name.

There’s a problem with their signatures, throw them out. Enough with the Broward County shenanigans.

No worries, Snipes will fix them.

POTUS said it right.

“If you look at Broward County, they have had a horrible history,”... “And if you look at the person, in this case a woman, involved, she has had a horrible history.”

“And all of a sudden they are finding votes out of nowhere.” “And Rick Scott who won by, it was close but he won by a comfortable margin, every couple hours it goes down a little bit.”

“And then you see the people, and they were involved with the fraud of the fake dossier, the phony dossier, and I guess I hear they were somehow involved or worked with the GPS Fusion people, who have committed, I mean you look at what they’ve done, you look at the dishonesty, look, look, there’s bad things gone on in Broward County, really bad things.”

Yes, that is exactly what is happening. Bad people are trying to steal another election.

3. Democrats that can’t remember how to sign their name.

Since most are from democrats, it's going to be really hard to determine if the 'X' that was written for their signature was actually written by the person that voted.
All them 'X's look alike

If the signatures don’t match,
you must redact!
