Corporal Thompson could see the driver moving around in the seat, and could see there was a passenger with him as well. The driver of the vehicle eventually stopped on Steele Road. When Corporal Thompson exited his vehicle, the driver immediately opened his car door and began shooting at Corporal Thompson. Corporal Thompson returned fire and numerous rounds were exchanged before the suspect jumped back into his vehicle and took off, eastbound on Steele Road. He traveled a short distance, stopped and let a female passenger out of the vehicle, then took off again.

Had it been me in that little white SUV coming the other way, I’d of emptied all 50 of my 9mm rounds into that SOB to assist that officer.
Yeah. I’d probably be in trouble for it, but the SOB wouldn’t shoot anyone else ever again.

I watched the video and why didn't the cop, at the first chance, kill the bastard. Why? We enjoy giving these killers free room and board and a free trip back to Mexico. Actually he will be back to kill. America has turned into cowards and will not really fight.

Let's not jump to conclusions. It might not be a revolver at all. It could be one of these.
Police departments need to start up-armoring their vehicles. At the minimum bulletproof windshield, doors and side glass with a heavy duty chassis to support the weight and to extend the vehicles life to help amotorize the added cost over a longer period.
I was actually wondering about the female passenger. Let out because she was ascreaming or to allow her to escape while they chased him?
I have watched this on the news and read in the paper and no one has said what state this took place in. The blurred photos of the bad guys cars shows what look like Texas tag but there are 39 Washington counties in the US. Bad reportage.

Dashcam footage of an intense shootout between an illegal immigrant and an Arkansas police officer over the weekend has been released.
According to a press release from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began when Washington County Corporal Brett Thompson tried to pull over a vehicle due to a traffic violation but the driver would not slow down.

Corporal Thompson returned fire and numerous rounds were exchanged before the suspect jumped back into his vehicle and took off, eastbound on Steele Road. He traveled a short distance, stopped and let a female passenger out of the vehicle, then took off again.
A Be On the Lookout (BOLO) was issued for the suspect and vehicle. A Springdale Police officer located the vehicle on 71B near Shady Grove Road in Springdale, where shots were exchanged again.
The suspect was pursued into Fayetteville, where Fayetteville Police and Arkansas State Police joined the pursuit. The suspect traveled back into Springdale, where he was eventually stopped at Don Tyson and S. Thompson and arrested by Springdale Police Officers.
When the suspect, identified as Luis COBOS-CENOBIO, H/M, 29, was arrested, he had a wound to the left arm/shoulder. Springdale Police transported him to Northwest Medical Center, where he was treated and released into their custody. (Washington County Sheriff’s Office)
Fortunately no officers, deputies, or bystanders were injured during the incident.
