GOP senators are nudging President Donald Trump to give up hopes for a $5 billion down-payment on a border wall in 2019.
My goal is to get the [budget] bills passed in December, said Sen. Richard Shelby, the GOP chairman of the Senates appropriations committee, said Nov. 15 after meeting Trump for a budget discussion. His committee has penciled in $1.6 billion for the wall in 2019, compared to the $5 billion in the draft House bill.

Time to fill one of them campaign promises, Mr. President.
22 months and people still walking in
GOP = Chicken sh!t Chumps.
SHUT IT DOWN.
Well, who else is shocked by this news? Crickets...... Yup, screw the country and it’s safety. Don’t try to get on a plane with a multi-tool, but let thousands of unchecked back packs across the border.
Thank you, Paul Ryan, right!
We had it all. But, Ryan was a paid lieutenant for his open borders and North American Union donors. Mafia.
Eric Cantor got bounced out of job, but Kevin McCarthy is groomed by the Ryan boss machine.
The “Three Young Guns”, remember?
Well, who else is shocked by this news? Crickets...... Yup, screw the country and its safety. Dont try to get on a plane with a multi-tool, but let thousands of unchecked back packs across the border.
Call out the congress reps either side who don’t want to protect our country. Point out that if they uncovered all the fraud in medicare, ss, welfare there more than enough money to pay for this.
Don’t let the “ say one thing, do another “ crowd get away with this.
Can’t see him getting a second term if there’s no wall by then. And I thought Mexico was going to pay for it?
Use defense department funds. Declare a national emergency and make a serious militarized border complete with mines, frequent active military patrols with aggressive rules of engagement, fort structures. That is what a military is for. To protect our country from invasion. Move border patrol staff not needed at checkpoints to the Canadian border.
Good for nothing House Republicans are salivating for the day theyll be able to shrug their shoulders and use their minority status as an excuse for being unable to accomplish anything.
Sen. Richard Shelby, the GOP chairman of the Senates appropriations committee,
Bush League Republicans MUST become extinct before the Republic does.
And the Congressional Republicans wonder why they got the crap beat out of them during the midterms.
Keep highlighting every illegal alien crime and pointing square at Democrats!
His (Shelby) committee has penciled in $1.6 billion for the wall in 2019, compared to the $5 billion in the draft House bill.
The House isn’t the problem this time.
It’s the Bush League Republicans in the Senate.
Its been said regarding American politics that one week is an eternity.
It was not just Trump but almost the entire Republicans in the Senate and House plus the communist Democrats. The fix was in, no wall, welcome the invasion of unskilled people that will be on free health care, welfare, and democratic voters.
