Famous Geneticist Tells NIH that Humans Are Going Extinct

November 16, 2018 | Sal Cordova

The facts of genetics make it clear even to evolutionists: “We are dying” and “More death by selection will not work.”

by Salvador Cordova

After 40 years of work in genetics and 18 years of research specifically into the question of human genetic degeneration, retired Cornell research professor John Sanford was finally invited by sympathetic staff at the world’s leading medical institution, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), to present his work.

Sanford was once an evolutionist, and few geneticists could boast of (1) having their work involved in feeding starving billions in the 3rd world and (2) having his inventions in the collection of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. But late in his career, what should have been an instant invitation to speak at the NIH seemed permanently closed. Why? Dr Sanford had become a creationist.

Idiocracy - the most intelligent opted not to breed and have been overtaken by the lower masses.

Nah. We are living longer, and with gene technology advancing, we’re going to be living a lot longer than we are now.

As for genes causing problems, there will almost certainly be gene therapy to take care of most of that.

Read the article.

Increased birthrates won’t help the genetic fitness, although it WILL keep a population from shrinking in the “near term”.

It’s hopeless, humanly speaking.

“there will almost certainly be gene therapy”

The article mentions that....

Intelligent design to fix a “random” genome....

(There is NOTHING random about our genome, by the way, I was just sarcing.)

One big solution for this is becoming a multi-planetary species. If we have a few million years, that’ll be easy. However, there may be speciation of humans on different planets. Especially distant ones.

Yeah.

Hey, I once had a grand-mother-in-law that was still driving into her 90s.

She was a spry lady. The reaper caught up with her close to 100.

I really liked that woman. Miss her...

Natural selection isn’t the end-all and be-all of evolution. Genetic drift counts for a lot.

The credit goes to God, of course. But I can’t leave out Gary Habermas.

I disagree with that assessment. Complex species don’t evolve by way of a simple selection process. They socially select. Those whose sum total of favorable genes is greatest get to dominate socially and reproduce. The others, not so much.
