Idiocracy.
My dad drove til 95.
My dad drove til 95.
Reminds me of that scene in a Woody Allen movie, where Woody, as a child is depressed and the parents and his teacher ask him, “Why are you so depressed?”
He answers, “Because I learned in science class this morning that the sun is going to blow up in a billion years. So, what’s the point of anything?”
Humans became humans by almost becoming extinct, probably hundreds of times during our 2.5 million year journey from old world primates. Compare us to our ancestors and you will find vast differences. Then compare today’s old world primates to the old world primates of 2.5 million years ago. It’s hard to tell them apart.
There is a killing force among us which causes the chaos, the biasing frequency, needed for change. It is the combination of carbohydrates and deadly viruses. There is also a saving force which we inherited from old world primates. It is the ability to exogenate deadly viruses into our DNA and code around them.
Hominids became humans because they could eat carbs. They also died because they ate carbs. The catch is, the survivors ate fats instead of carbs. Fats provide the cellular energy needed for epigenetic recoding.
He’s right, you know.
With the horrible chemistry-sets on the market that we call “Food” all of our biological systems are on the fritz. And we’re just a few modifications away from being rendered sterile.
It’s scary, it really is. We need to change this. I have started to for my family but it’s harder than when I decided, more than a decade ago, to rid my life of everything made in China. It’s simply not 100% possible anymore.
Man’s destiny never was to be a million years of civilization
Don’t overlook the general nature of current technology: it’s never as good as it was intended to be, and in many instances worse, or more problematic, than whatever it was intended to replace.
But neither of the forces you mention are anywhere near as powerful or influential as the second law of thermodynamics.
Well sure but what about the exogenous bifurcation caused by the recombinant dna when it interacts (positive/negative) with the biomass resulting from the reconfigured plutostasis enzymes?
Im an only (bother died of MD) and have 3 kids
My dad is the only of his four siblings to have kids
Moms brother had 3
I think it all works out except for stupid liberals who dont believe in marriage and family
We are dying
I agree with the concept that God created us perfect, but millennia of being exposed to sin, has caused it to be damaged IMO.
The gene achievements are good, and something God allows us to achieve.
I agree with that to a point.
Leukemia was something that used to be a death sentence. Today we’ve made great strides, and a pretty decent percentage of people survive it.
While the idea that sometime we harm instead of help is valid, it’s also valid to say that we have made some incredible inroads against disease, and we will certainly make more.
Perhaps it will be two steps forward and 2-4 steps backwards at times, but we will make headway.
It’s a matter of incentives... switch the incentives and you get a different outcome.

When? Not soon enough. To many people in the world. That’s Why we have societal parasites like Democrats, liberals, progressives, socialists and communists.
Really, we’re going extinct, eh? Has this guy seen what’s marching towards out southern border?
Democrat’s first.
