I wasn’t trying to be funny, I was trying to insult your ridiculous opinion about Truman which *I* find to be blasphemous. The idea that God chose that horrendous socialist to be President? Did he ordain Clinton and Obama too or did those slip by without his approval?
Truman was actually chosen by rat party bosses cause they knew FDR would not live through his 4th term and they needed a folsky stooge who could con rubes into continuing to vote democrat. Sounds more like Satan’s work to me than God’s, amigo.
I see no blaspheming here by Impy. Truman did one good thing in ending WW2, but almost any other person in office at that time when given a gift to bring a horrific war to a close whose alternative was sacrificing a million more American troops and countless millions of Japanese civilians in a War for Japan would’ve done the same.
Other than that, Truman was an utter fiasco that left us with disastrous problems up to the present day. His failure to allow MacArthur to march through to China and depose Mao in favor of Chiang gave the Communists a permanent gift from which to continue their atrocities. A Chiang-run Nationalist China would’ve meant virtually no SE Asia misadventures. No countless millions of victims of Communism. Vietnam would be a united and FREE Republic today. No separate Koreas, a strong and united Republic.
That doesn’t even begin to address Truman’s failures to combat the deep infiltration of our government and society of Soviet and pro-Soviet sympathizers.
Indeed, had Truman been on the right side of these issues, we would have a vastly different and better country and safer world today. But Truman chosen by God ? Given the outcome above, I’d say it was the other fella that had a hand in it. In fact, I’d call anyone saying we were blessed by Truman to be the blasphemer, and that’s no joke.

I’ll go back to what I’ve posted previously posted: The last, and possibly only “good” RAT POTUS was James Polk and that was ~170 years ago.

Well, the Cold War would’ve been nonexistent. I believe Eisenhower was either directly or at a minimum tacitly involved in Patton’s assassination.
