What does it take to friend a U.S. senator?
If you’re Facebook, all you need is about $50,000 in donations – and a cushy job for the politician’s daughter.
Facebook employees, including some at the top of its corporate pyramid, have helped fill Schumer’s campaign coffers – and he’s returned the favor by carrying water for the social media giant in Congress, according to a recent report.
And Alison Schumer, the senator’s youngest of two daughters, works as a Facebook product marketing manager – which pays an average of $160,000, according to Glassdoor.com.
“It sure looks hinky,” political strategist Susan Del Percio told The Post. “This is an industry that’s been trying for years to fend off heavy government regulation by actively cultivating relationships with senators and House members.”

That’s a pretty common word. I hear LEOs use it often.

I’ve only heard it used once. Tommy Lee Jones, in one of the fugitive movies, barked at one of his underlings for using a word he never heard before.

I was told having a “hinky feeling” was law enforcement speak.
First off, ALL words are ‘made up’.
Second, just because you don’t know a word doesn’t mean that others don’t know it and use it.
Maybe you meant to say that you think the word ‘hinky’ is slang or argot, cant, dialect, jargon, jive, language, lingo, patois, patter, shop, or shoptalk.
Actually, what I MEANT was to make a funny reference to a movie line but no one here seems to be following along. No worries. I don’t give a crap how people talk. To a lesser observer, the use of “words” like ain’t, cred, and hinky may seem like hip speak or dialed in rhetoric. But, as has been said by Kings and Queens, I am not a lesser observer.
