People have been acting for a long time like the United States is the world’s hotbed of mass public shootings. Following a 2015 mass shooting during his administration, President Barack Obama declared: “The one thing we do know is that we have a pattern now of mass shootings in this country that has no parallel anywhere else in the world.” . . . .
But America doesn’t lead the world in mass public shootings. We’re not even close. Just last month, a school shooting in Crimea, Russia, claimed 20 lives and wounded 65 others. But Americans usually don’t hear about such events.

CA already has the gun laws that they keep telling us we need everywhere else and they did not stop this shooting.
Gun laws don’t work because criminals ignore laws.
It’s quite the paradox actually; laws only affecting the law-abiding folks who aren’t inclined to break laws in the first place.
Look at the potential mass shootings, where someone with a gun (usually a cop) was there to put the perp down. Just the other day in a Chicago hospital, for example. One of the officers was killed, along with 2 workers in the ER. Had there not been armed police nearby how many more might he have killed?
It is obvious you need a shooter to take out a shooter. You’d be a fool to deny this. The real debate is that they only want cops to do it; they’d leave everyone at the mercy of government.
And not just when it comes to guns. Which is ironic because they’d be the first to tell you that government is not merciful. That’s not its job.
The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.
Even stupid lefties should have figured this out by now....
They know that. They figured that out a long time ago.
That's why they want to disarm the good guys.

Shouldn’t we drop the ‘Gun Free School Zones’ now? These gun free zones are getting more people killed than normal. It might have sounded good when Joe Biden suggested it, but it has proved a disaster. We would be better off if guns were allowed in schools and other places.
