The Los Angeles district attorney declined to prosecute attorney Michael Avenatti on felony domestic abuse charges on Wednesday and referred allegations that he roughed up his girlfriend to the city attorney for a possible misdemeanor case.

A spokeswoman for the district attorney would not say why prosecutors declined to take the case from Los Angeles police. Documents supporting the decision were not released because the case was referred to the city attorney and was still under investigation.

The city attorney's office will review the case, a spokesman said.

No kidding. The Democrat DA won’t prosecute a prominent Democrat. I’m really shocked. Just shocked.

Photos of bruises and welts? First-person account of the neighbor whose door she knocked on? This DA is getting fire unless, like Ellison, democrap voters just listen to the top and refuse to listen to womyn.

Has Avenatti not yet enough recognition, in that his name is always prefaced with ‘Stormy Daniels.’

Maybe it is a way of filling column space? Or, do they think it dresses up the story?

I only opened this to make a stupid comment. I couldn’t care less what he does or doesn’t do.

Well there’s still misdemeanor charges possible. Just didn’t rise to a felony. We shall see if they dump that as well. Then we know the fix is in.

Well the creepy porn lawyer doesn’t have any money so he couldn’t have bribed him with cash, however; he does know a lot of creepy porn stars.

I doubt that his “political” career is over, though. Representing a hooker against POTUS, accused of beating his girlfriend, eviction due to non-payment of rent.... All enhanced features for a Democrat resume.

Why did the AP writer (anonymous) FAIL to identify the LA DA by name (forget the party, it’s a One Party dictatorship)?

Was it by accident? Hell No!
Was it by poor editing? Hell No (I was a copy editor).

Was it a deliberate “omission, cover-up”? Hell yes?

But why in a Democrat dictatorship such as the LA city government, would the AP be afraid to just name a guy whose title will show up on the internet or in a city phone book?

COLLUSION between the Dems and the media is the only logical reason. The rot is deeper than the Marianas Trench.
