I’d like to see a stipulation that a judge gets just so many stricken down cases before he is deemed unfit for the job.

It is interesting that the constitution does not provide for lifetime tenure for judges as almost everyone talks about. Article III, Section 1 provides that:

The judges, both of the supreme and inferior courts, shall hold their offices during good behaviour,...

It would appear to me that a record of being reversed on their decisions would constitute bad behaviour and would justify removal. The higher standard of high crimes and misdemeanors set out for the President's removal should not be applied to Judges.

I’d have to study that more, but it sure does provide food for thought.

I’d need to see what constitutes this bad behavior.

Who would make the call and remove said judge?
