Democratic Rep. Beto O'Rourke is changing his tune about the possibility of running for president in 2020.

Prior to his narrow loss in the Texas US Senate race to Republican Ted Cruz, O'Rourke had repeatedly insisted he would not run for president.

Now, he's leaving the door open.

He said Monday he will finish his term in the House in January and focus with his wife and children on "being together as a family" until then.

Question: Cruz got re-elected by the skin of his teeth. His seat will come up again when we are looking for Trump’s replacement. What does he need to do make peace with the Texas voters so his next election isn’t a nail biter. Or is he now damaged goods and Texans will need to find a replacement? Just looking ahead.
I guess the other thing, will Texas still be a red state in six years? I see a lot of storm clouds on the horizon for Conservatives in Texas. O’Rourke got way too close.

A pot-smoking criminal with zero political background to scrutinize. So he can be programmed to say whatever the Soros/Podesta orgs want him to say, without fear of being called on any of it, like Obama.

the PERFECT Dem candidate.

“Governor Abbot was way ahead not close at all. It depends on the candidates.”

That was my point! Is Cruz damaged goods? I know we’ve got 6 years, but if he’s lost his “shine” who are Texans going to want in his place?

No.

Only the very gullible and easily manipulated call Robert Francis O’Rourke “Beto”.

The drunken hit and run driver is sort of a thing, in a mockery magnet kind of way.
