A teacher was caught on camera berating a student for wearing a Make America Great Again hat in class. The teacher lectures the classroom for several minutes.
Then at the three minute mark the teacher calls the student an “asshole” for wearing the hat.

This individual teacher is an indoctrinator not a teacher. This is why the government should not control education.

Teacher was stupid to debate the kid. If there’s a ‘no hat’ rule then apply the penalty for the kid breaking the rule.
That is very much not an option for most.
I went to school in the 70s and in 1st grade I was arguing with my left wing nun teacher and told my parents who reported her anonymously.
She asked me if i was the one who said she was spreading Marxist nonsense and I did not answer her. I had to report her again later on that semester and she finally stopped.
If you’re brought up right at home, school won’t change you.
I only realized later that I was a squealer in a neighborhood where we were all Italian! :)
I should have taken matters into my own hands and made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. :)
This “teacher” turned that student into a Freedom Fighter. He will never forget this. And many of the other students also see the wrong in this.

Good post, but the article doesn’t name the teacher, school district, or even the US state involved.
A friend of mine has a kid doing their graduate work at a real big liberal school in the upper Midwest, and the advisor they are assigned to is a transsexual (female to male) who forbids the use of pronouns in its presence, and will fail any student (and has) who expresses a conservative thought in their class.
Think about that. EVERY damn time a Lefty gets anything looking like power, they turn it into a dictatorship, even if it’s just a classroom. Where, except at a lunatic university or in government, would (or should) this crap be allowed?
And people pay good money to be treated this way?

AND you ONLY get hired as a teacher or in the education government monopoly IF you agree with her thinking.
I’ve seen perfectly fine teachers fired (for budget reasons) and then a replacement hired. Just happened to be the only openly Republican teacher remaining at the school.
And I’ll bet the teacher keeps their job...
