CNN’s Jim Acosta made his return to the James S. Brady room on Tuesday for a press briefing with Sarah Sanders -- 20 days after the reporter was temporarily banned from the White House.
Sanders, who until Tuesday hadn't held a briefing in weeks, took questions after sessions with National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow and National Security Adviser John Bolton – during which Acosta kept quiet. The press secretary eventually called on Acosta, who asked if President Trump would recommend that Paul Manafort should cooperate with authorities going forward.
The questioning grew tenser -- though not nearly as explosive as the post-election incident that resulted in his pass being pulled -- as Acosta then asked why Trump doesn’t have faith in his advisers, citing the president's apparent skepticism toward a major government climate change study and the CIA's findings regarding Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's role in activist Jamal Khashoggi's killing.
Sanders shot back, “That’s not accurate,” as the CNN reporter listed a series of examples. He continued to ask the question but was met with pushback from Sanders.
“That’s not true. The president has a great deal of faith in the intelligence community and, certainly, in the team he has assembled around him,” she said before Acosta disagreed, citing intelligence related to the murder of Khashoggi as something Trump doesn’t necessarily agree with.

Acosta is still disregarding them, and Sanders seemed to have let him do so. If it's not enforced now, it can never be enforced.
Why do they even call on that filth?

We need to start a fundraiser for Trump if he allows Sanders to mutter “DEAR DIARY” next time Acosta gets out of line. M2C.

I agree with you. If they undermine their new rules now and later crack down on Acosta, they will be back in court and accused of whatever offense sells best to the public and the court.
Oh the little commie cockroach is back. Acosta should pretend that Obama is President and ask questions such as “Hows the weather today?” and “Whose gonna win the NBA title”

The CIA report on the Khashoggi death was inconclusive. Acosta should read it and see for himself. Granted it would do little good. You can lead a horse to water...
Freeze Out!
When Acosta was requested and was granted a “follow-up” after a question on Manafort, he asked a question on climate change. When Sanders did not stop him right there about his obviously NOT a follow-.up, she lost the battle. Letting him have a third question on a third topic makes a mockery of the new rules. Acosta is laughing his head off. He knows full well what a follow-up is and what it is it.
