5 [fake] facts about illegal immigration in the U.S.
Pew Research Center ^ | November 28, 2018 | By Jens Manuel Krogstad, Jeffrey S. Passel and D’Vera Cohn

The number of unauthorized immigrants living in the United States was lower in 2016 than at any time since 2004. This decline is due mainly to a large drop in the number of new unauthorized immigrants, especially Mexicans, coming into the country. The origin countries of unauthorized immigrants also shifted during that time, with the number from Mexico declining and the number rising from only one other region, Central America, according to the latest Pew Research Center estimates.

Here are five facts about the unauthorized immigrant population in the U.S.:

1. There were 10.7 million unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. in 2016.

2. The number of Mexican unauthorized immigrants declined since 2007, but the total from other nations changed little.

3. The U.S. civilian workforce includes 7.8 million unauthorized immigrants, representing a decline since 2007.

4. Six states account for 58% of unauthorized immigrants: California, Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey and Illinois.

5. A rising share of unauthorized immigrants have lived in the U.S. for more than a decade.

1. There were 10.7 million unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. in 2016.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not just Fake News. But Fake Facts. Perhaps they meant 10.7 million ENTERED the US in 2016. That would be much close to the actual number of some 40 million.
Even the Ivy League admits to 22 million.
It will be less of a problem to deport all the illegals than we thought, according to the article.
I see the Spanish kids lined up for the school bus every morning when I drive in to work. It's all over, people. There are WAY more of them (of school age) than there are of us. Demographics is Destiny.
Los Angeles County (2013)
African American/Black   7.2%
American Indian/Alaskan 0.1%
Asian/Pacific Islander       15.3%
Hispanic/Latina              56.5%
White                               17.8%
Multiracial                        1.5%
...
How could they possibly know this number or any of the others? I thought all the illegals were in the shadows.
Look at those statistics. The Blacks have been pushed out of Los Angeles County by the Mexicans. Watts is now all Mexican. Many black people have moved out to Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Inglewood in Los Angeles County is almost all black, but most of the areas that were predominantly black 25 years ago are now Mexican. There is a lot of friction between those two groups. The Mexicans do not have white guilt and they don’t give a sh*t about slavery and the history of the black people in America.
If anyone ever wanted to demonstrate a classic case of irrefutable FAKE NEWS, this screed is it...
In fact, I am offended/triggered by this posting... So, as a result, a trigger finger is getting a lot harder to keep under control...
