Mounting evidence of voter fraud in North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District could indefinitely delay the certification of a winner, as state election officials investigate whether hundreds of absentee ballots were illegally cast or destroyed.
The North Carolina State Board of Elections and Ethics Enforcement has no plans to certify Republican Mark Harris’s 905-vote victory over Democrat Dan McCready, according to an agenda of a board meeting scheduled for Friday morning.
The board is collecting sworn statements from voters in rural Bladen and Robeson counties, near the South Carolina border, who described people coming to their doors and urging them to hand over their absentee ballots, sometimes without filling them out. Others described receiving absentee ballots by mail that they had not requested. It is illegal to take someone else’s ballot and turn it in.

I suspect they won’t want to search to deeply as they’ll find that if they have to dump bad votes, the Pubbie will get MORE votes.
I suspect a Democratic fraud vote scheme that miscalculated leaving the Pubbie still in the lead. The Dems can tap into the narrative going around about how late vote arrivals are benefitting the Dems and use it to say that the same has happened to their candidate and there-by force a rerun of the election in that district.
Sounds like there’s a bunch of dumbasses in that area. But after this last election here in California, I have come to the conclusion most people are stupid. If you’re too stupid to vote for higher gas prices that’s too bad. But handing over your absentee ballot is moronic. Along with voter ID there should be an IQ test required.
So, are they investigating this so the 905 vote margin expands? Or are they accusing the Republicans in the district of fraud?
In the primary, Harris won 96 percent of all absentee ballots in Bladen ..... so, when obama won precincts in Philly with 106% of the eligible voters, were any Dem’s crying foul?
And it could intentionally go bad and The January 2019 Nancy Boys & Girls could refuse to seat the Republican.

I have no doubt that voter fraud is rampant. I questioned the election supervisor and was told she could see how I voted and know my name because my name was bar coded to my voted ballot. I asked if the machine counted my votes correctly and was told was told there was no system in place that could prove my ballot votes were counted correctly. WOW .... They know how I vote but do not have to prove my ballot was counted correctly. WOW .....
Strengthen voter id and antifraud laws, problem solved for either side. Oh wait, Dems don’t want that.
Strange how everything stops and there is an in-depth, voter-level audit and investigation of alleged “fraud” in a district where a Rublican is just slightly in the lead, isn’t it?
Contrast this to the numerous California congressional district races were republican leads were quickly erased by “last minute” ballots received and counted.

We each must learn .... If there is fraud or a criminal anywhere in the election process the gop is guilty and diversity is our strength

So election fraud never happens, until they think they can pin it on the GOP, then, OMG the humanity/fairness/integrity blah blah blah.
It was a dry run for 2020.
As someone that lives near said area, it’s a bunch of crap. Basically they have two or three people that were stupid enough to SURRENDER THEIR OWN MAIL-IN BALLOT to someone else (with their signature). The Dems in the area are trying to keep this from being certified (and will probably push for a revote) as since this is the only time a Republican has won a recount, it is an enormous affront to democracy </s>.
I have a feeling that this is all bluster as the local Dems do not want someone (especially the local GOP) having an excuse to rummage through other voting materials).
The reason why Harris won against Pittenger is because Pittenger doesn’t spend time in Bladen county (which is major Dem area). All the votes are in Union County and Meck., and no one in Bladen is going to vote for a career politician like Pittenger, but rather for a pastor and man of God like Harris.
