I could not, as a matter of principle, ever even imagine myself voting for a Democrat. There is no strategy or plan worth me compromising that fundamental position.
Sure, living around Boston means that I lose a lot at election time, but voting for a Democrat is simply a bridge too far for me.
It was a primary vote, part of Rush’s Operation Chaos.
Of course I voted for McCain in November.
