How? Georgia is now at 11-2. There are 3 other teams with ZERO losses. Their fans, staffs and players would rightfully pitch a fit.

Two things about Ole Kirby (Not) Smart. One, if he wanted to be in the championships, he never should have lost to Oregon State. Two, that 4th down play was stuuuupppiiid. He told ESPN Alabama was on to it because the snap was too slow. Well why the Hell didn’t he call a time out???? He had 3 time outs. Sure you don’t want to waste ‘em, but come on, he GAVE the game away with that. Coaches decisions need to be smart AND quick. Kirby only has Smart.

Georgia lost to LSU 36-16. They didn’t play Oregon State.

So, you're agreeing, AB, that except for 1 decision-- made by someone not on the field--that Georgia would have won and proven to be the better team.

Had Georgia won, wouldn't 'Bama still deserve a spot in the playoffs? Yes, of course, because the stated goal is to assemble the 4 best teams.

I have no dog (pun intended) in this hunt. I just hope for this rematch of two of the best. Clemson might give the Tide a game but OK, nor the Irish, nor THEE Ohio State University have a prayer.

Stupid call. Why save 3 time outs with only 3:19 left?
