The coalition that led to the cancellations in Vermont and Massachusetts is currently working to convince other police departments to back out of the program. On Friday, a letter addressing this issue was sent to the mayor of Boston, Marty Walsh, by a group of local activists from JVP and other organizations.
“Given that the Boston Police Department is under your jurisdiction as Mayor of Boston, we ask that you too choose to cancel Boston’s participation in the seminar,” the activists wrote. “We’ve seen your office take firm positions, time after time, against the racist and bigoted policies of the Trump administration. The people you have pledged to protect are asking today that you continue to do so by saying no to police training with a military force that currently maintains a brutal military occupation.”

That’s short-sighted. A lot of the same people that want the destruction of Israel, also want the destruction of the police, rule of law, etc.

This truly surprises me given that it’s the police. Giving in to the boycott Isreal is a big mistake.

Gee, I guess it’s a good thing that “Free Occupied Tibet”, “Free Occupied Kurdistan”, “Free Occupied Northern Cyprus”, “Free Occupied Basque”, “Free Occupied Catalonia”, “Free the Occupied Falkland Islands” (er, I mean “Las Malvinas”), “England out of Ireland”, “England out of Scotland”, “England out of Wales”, “England out of Gibraltar”, “Free Occupied Québec”, “Free Occupied Aztlan” etc... etc... etc... are nowhere NEAR the cause-célèbre that “Occupied Palestine” is, or those poor Boston cops would’t be able to cooperate with ANYONE!
Of course, none of those other causes will EVER be as popular of a cause-célèbre as “Occupied Palestine”, because none of those others have the hatred of t3h j0000z at the root. :P
It appears that none of the men who “fired the shot heard ‘round the world” left behind any progeny. Or if they did, they long ago departed those states. This country has had to put up with the likes of congress critters from the New England states and the pukes who put them into office none of whom are loyal to the US for far too long. Can’t we just build a wall to separate those states from the rest of the NE? Leave them to their own rot. Today, no one takes a stand when threatened in this manner. Everyone gives in to all these idiots. They all have the same theme - hate Trump.

It's my understanding palestinian security officials participate in presentations as well. Boycotting palestinians, not nice. Needless to say, police don't need training in terrorism or crowd control. At least not from Israel.
