The G-20 summit in Argentina was supposed to be part of the carefully choreographed diplomatic dance between two of the worlds most powerful leaders.
Instead, Russias aggressive action against Ukraine prompted President Donald Trump to cancel a planned meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, leaving Putin filling his summit dance card with other partners, Newsmax reported.
Putin met instead with Turkish President Recip Erdogan, who used the time to try to convince Putin to hold a summit on the situation in Syrias Idlib province, where Russia-based Syrian forces are slowly squeezing the last pockets of resistance, Reuters reported.
Putin also tried to make friends with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is in the American diplomatic doghouse over the killing of a journalist at the Saudi consulate in Turkey.

“Get over there, and stand with all the other bad children!; said the Belgium busybodies of the EU. “
“B-b-b-b-b-but COLLUSION!” - muttered Mueller.
Of course the media will not point out that Trump’s snubbing of Putin shows that he knows that Putin has no evidence of collusion to blackmail him with.
So how smart is it to drive Russia into cooperation with Turkey and Iran?
Our whole policy of confrontation since the break up of the USSR (to include Kosovo) has been one of idiocy.
No, in fact, Putin is a thug, and he wants it all. We're no more responsible for Putin's imperialist aggressions than we were for 9/11.
Watch Mohammed bin Salman at G20.
