AND NOW... amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke... it is time for... that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-The-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him — do NOT doubt him — with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda), the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A real man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He is ready to do what he was born to do — host. Get ready to what you were born to do — listen. And post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread.

Thanks for the thread! Decent show today. Some good callers talking about the first Gulf war. The last guy doesn’t listen to the show enough to know that’s not how you get a free phone.

I remember that ‘03 start-up to GW1. I was in a local FFL’s store, getting a Trijicon ACOG scope fitted to my AR-10 - the G-mith had to modify the mount w/his machinery, and two US Army Officers came in, and bought all the remaining ACOGs, EoTech Red Dots and Leupold glass. A HUGE briefcase full of cash and an extra long rental van outside. I felt guilty that I’d just bought one, knowing that they might not have enough. Heh.

The one major said they’re hitting every FFL, online business firearm scope seller for those 3 scopes, regardless of configuration. He said the soldiers would adapt to whatever they were issued.

Hey Rush, re those “We want Trump” chants

Buddy of mine was over in Belgium for the Armistice Day celebrations. He ran into an elderly British couple who had nothing but praise for Trump. The man thanked him and his son for electing Trump rather than “THAT CRAZY WOMAN!”
Buddy’s young 20 something son said “I didn’t vote for him” to which the man replied, “Well you SHOULD have.”

I posted this yesterday in last week's thread. Moving it here for posterity, since Limbaugh forgot who else was running in the Democrat primary during the Willie Horton ad era.

In the 1992 Democrat primary, former Massachusetts Senator Paul Tsongas was the early front-runner; Bill Clinton was struggling with infidelity questions. Tsongas had retired from the Senate in 1984 because he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma (John Kerry took his seat). Tsongas underwent a bone marrow transplant to treat the disease in 1986 and received a clean bill of health from doctors in 1991.

The whisper campaign began against Tsongas that his health was still in doubt, and Tsongas' popularity began to wane as Clinton's began to surge. Tsongas eventually dropped out of the race.

As it turned out, Tsongas died in 1997 from a return of the cancer, which would have been in the seventh year of his Presidency. People were right to question his health.

They accuse George H. W. Bush for "recreating too much," and then they complain about George W. Bush for going back to boring Crawford, Texas and not doing anything.

“They” - the socialists, commies, marxists etc - complain about everything, except their hatred, everytime-failed piece-of-sh!t gov’t model and mentally-ill, murderous way of life. Life goes on. We win. They lose. Happens everytime so far.

Maria Shriver turned him left. He’d always been a “post turtle” (look it up), but she lifted him off the fence, onto her socialist/commie Kennedy side of the yard.
