If his Auto Drive was on, then I do not see how that is any different than ridding in a cab.
At this time, ALL self driving cars are legally presented as “assisted driving”, where the human in the driver’s seat MUST be ready & able to take full control at a moment’s notice. Likely won’t start moving with an empty driver’s seat. Ergo, not a cab for drunks.
