ICYMI: Detroit Just Declared War On Gun Rights With So-Called ‘Bullet Bill’(SMDH)

Detroit has decided to follow its deep blue brethren in another assault on law-abiding citizens. They want to limit the amount of ammunition that can be purchased, while undergoing a mental health background check. The bill is straight trash, folks—you already knew that though. It never ceases to amaze me how liberals are just total garbage in their policy prescriptions concerning gun politics. It was passed by unanimous voice vote earlier this month (via Fox 2):

Just like 16oz soda restrictions I suppose. The folks are too stoopider to figure out they can drive someplace else to get ammo? Or make their own. But if it save one child blah, blah, blah............

I never was fond of Detroit so hit them in the pocket book by driving somewhere else to purchase what you want/need, not just ammo but EVERYTHING.

As I mentioned before: my dad buys ammunition and 40rd mags and has them delivered to the house. I mention this to my CA friends who just go grrrr since they have to buy their ammo from an FFL dealer no longer at Walmart plus no detachable mags.

One question mental exam:

Who would you mass murder, Bolshekrats or Conservatives?

The right answer will get you all the ammo you need.

James Craig is still Detroit police chief ...and he espouses the citizens arm themselves.

no mention of his take on this, in this article.

Will be shot down by state courts in nothing flat.

Michigan passed a state law that says no city/county law/rule when it comes to guns can be more restrictive than state law.

You misspelled KKKalifornia (KKKA), also known as Northern MeKKKsico.

Isn’t this against the 2nd Amendment? Even if voted in, one individual suing can get it thrown out?

1) This isn't going to survive the courts -and-
2) Every store selling ammunition north of 8 mile from Jefferson to Woodward is going to be making money.

Does this only apply to white folks? It seems to me a lot of black leaders want to make sure whites can’t use deadly force if a bro tries to rob or break into their homes.

So does the state have pre-emption on crap like this, like Texas now does to protect the rights of people living in Austin and other left-wing outposts? If not, the Republicans there deserve to be thrown out of office.

Detroit has decided to follow its deep blue brethren in another assault on law-abiding citizens.

We lost a subtle but easy engagement by allowing the MSM, unquestionably at the urging of America's left, to adopt for the Dem-turned socialist states a color with which almost everyone is comfortable; as in, "deep blue waters", "blue eyes", "the wild blue yonder", etc.

At the same time, it decided the color red - historically used as a term of political identity by politicians and communists themselves - would henceforth describe the R-controlled states. The R states, of course, undeniably contain the overwhelmingly larger portion of conservatives and others who support the U.S. Constitution.

Some view it a minor point, but it continues as a nagging irritant for me because it is one of the ways the Left intentionally confuses political terms to softly seduce our younger, newer-on-the-scene voters.
