Equality is the chief faux virtue of our time. Our obsession with it brings to mind the great G.K. Chestertons observation, The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of Conservatives is to prevent mistakes from being corrected.

Egalitarianism is far worse than merely useless. It is the ultimate enemy of all human progress; the tool of scoundrels & demagogues; the enemy of everything that is socially constructive; indeed, the parent of both the PC & Socialist fantasy worlds.
Greatest Mischief
On the other hand, equality cannot die, because it never existed.

"Equality exists in mathematics and no place else."
There have been posts here about social justice warriors beginning a movement to intrude into mathematics and change mathematical outcomes based upon perceptions, as well.

Numbers don’t lie, but people certainly do.
Especially Leftists.

You understand reality! No one reading this ever sat in a class room with his or her equal on either side. But egalitarian slogans are very useful in diverting unhappy people away from taking constructive steps to better themselves instead of joining Leftist causes to demand Government tear down those whom they envy.

Equality = Political Correctness?
To: Liz
I professor I had assigned us the study of skilled debater, GK Chesterton who often challenged the thinking of men like George Bernard Shaw, H. G. Wells, Bertrand Russell and Clarence Darrow. Chesterton was a delightfully arrogant and unapologetic conservative.
In the 90s I enjoyed the TV show "Frasier" and always wondered who was responsible for naming the pompous character on the show, Gil Chesterton.

"social justice warriors" represent a very troubled set of
dysrons.*
*People with normal or even above average intelligence, who suffer from fears & compulsions, which make them operate at the analytic capacity of morons.

The formula is quite old. The demagogues employ the same tactic as related in the encounter between the serpent & Eve in Genesis. You focus the victim's attention on an imaginary grievance, to the exclusion of what is actually relevant to the victim's future.

Equality is a myth! My wife can’t do my IT work. I can’t play guitar like my Son. I surely can’t have a baby like my Daughter can. My house is better the the guy’s down the lane but worse than the lady’s up the the road. The bagger at the grocery doesn’t earn what I earn and I sure ain’t no Millionaire:-)
