In this country we honor passing Presidents for the office that they have held regardless of our political posture.
President Bush Sr. asked that Pres. Trump and Flotus be there for his funeral.
Obviously Pres. Bush Jr. and Pres. Trump have done the right thing here for his father’s request and the nation. Don’t get hung up on the small stuff...they both are leading by example in this.
Maybe the elder President Bush made his sons promise there would not be a repeat of the McCain funeral/Wellstone funeral nastiness at his own funeral.
