I am astonished that she has not resigned. Yes, I know the constitution of the UK is unwritten. Yes, I know this gives the government (some) flexibility in times of danger.

However.

If the Deep State is really sovereign - and not the Queen in Parliament - then anything can happen, and probably will.

Based on my limited understanding of the British Parliamentary system, it seems the Queen should be calling for new elections.
