Donald Trump’s Attorneys Seek $800,000 in Legal Fees, Penalties from Stormy Daniels
Breitbart ^ | 12/5/18 | Katherine Rodriguez

An attorney for President Trump requested the court obtain $800,000 in legal fees and penalties from porn star actress Stormy Daniels for her unsuccessful defamation lawsuit against the president.

Attorney Charles Harder said his firm spent more than 500 hours and $390,000 in legal fees defending the president and asked the court to press for just as much money in sanctions to deter “frivolous defamation cases.”

“This action is virtually unprecedented in American legal history,” Harder wrote in court papers. Daniels “not only brought a meritless claim for defamation against the sitting president of the United States, but she also has engaged, along with her attorney, in massive national publicity.”

This could be the first time in history where a hooker pays a politician.

This may be why Stormy and Avenatti have parted ways.

She probably took his advice and thinks this is his fault.

I think its interesting that the award of attorney’s fees falls entirely on the client, and not at all on the attorney, who is supposed to know when he’s skirting the edge of acceptable practice.

Used, worn and tossed aside.

She also looks like she uses at least one hard drug.

I’ve asked this question before....when a lawyer takes a case on contingency and loses big, like in this case, isn’t he liable when they lose?

That's going to leave a mark; it will cost them big time and will serve as a huge "warning sign" to any and all those seeking to pull the same stunt.

The painful lesson = President Trump isn't Georgie Bush 2; he's not going to just sit there, shut his mouth and take it while he lets you frivolously attack and destroy him:

PRESIDENT Trump FIGHTS BACK and when (not "if") HE WINS, he is going to take you to the wood shead, and then, when he's done he is going to drag your flailing carcus to the cleaners for financial remuneration.

Trump will be lucky to see $20,000.

Ask for no more than you’ll likely be able to get, or her lawyer will get every dollar.

Daniels is past her prime, IMO.

It’s a shame that the Mustang Ranch isn’t hiring any “entertainers” at this time.

This could be the first time in history where a hooker pays a politician.

I suppose Jesse "The Gov" Ventura doesn't count since it happened while he was in the Navy, but he said that he was at a Nevada brothel and a prostitute wanted to buy the belt he was wearing that was made out of spent .50 BMG shell casings and links. He said make an offer, and she said a trick and $10.

He said it was the first time that a hooker paid him.

Well, contingency usually means a win or nothing (although there may be court expenses the lawyer fronts). It rarely means a win or a substantial loss, as in pay the other party’s legal fees. That’s pretty unusual in the USA.

If you hover over the gray GOOGLE, you get a text box that says “National Day of Mourning for President George H.W. Bush”
