“1992: HE LOOK AT HIS WATCH DURING THE DEBATE! HE DOESN’T CARE ABOUT EVERYDAY AMERICANS!!!!”

I guess I’m getting older and more cynical, but I think he threw that election on purpose. I honestly believe he wanted Bill Clinton to be POTUS since a Democrat would be a better choice to kick off his “New World Order” alignment with the UN and the then-planned EU.

Clinton only got 43% of the vote in 1992 and 49.2% of the vote in 1996. I don’t think he would have gotten much more had it not been for Perot. No Perot in 1992 would have certainly meant Bush’s re-election ... 1996 would have been a squeaker.

Also, I don’t think Perot was lured by liberals to enter the race ... I think he was lured by the Bush wing of the deep state to enter the race to insure Bill’s win on both occasions.

All of my statements are conjecture, but the USA sure as hell made a pretty sharp, globalist turn during the 1990s. Had half of that happened under a GOP President, the party would have died in the mid 1990s. That would certainly explain the need for a Democratic POTUS to carry Bush’s “New World Order” baton.

The GOPe manages the proglibs just like they handle their own electorate. Patricians to the core, they never do the hard work nor get their hands dirty.

Since the elite maintain ownership of the means of production, and many/most come from old monopolies, they could hardly give a sh!t about the free market. How wants all that yucky dog-eat-dog competition anyway? More government, equaling more government contracts for controlled corporations, is exactly what they want.

So you get earnest eager beavers (literally) like Occasional-Cortex running around getting themselves all worked up pushing policy initiatives, while the GOPe utters sweet aphorisms to no one in particular. When it comes to a vote, they have their scripts all pre-written about how it's best for bi-partisan unity, blah, blah, blah.

But what they really, really don't want is someone who might upset the apple cart, and disturb their beautifully managed lives. Trump is really a thorn in their collective sides, and the sooner he's deposed, the better.

How many elections were we told “give us the house...give us the Senate... give us the Oval office and we’ll blah, blah, blah.”

W had it and did nothing with it. And what did the voters do? They found someone who fought in the primaries and that convinced them he would fight for this country.

And the elites will do anything to get rid of him. I can see Mueller coming up with some penny ante charge. The Dems will impeach. And what will the republicans in the Senate do? They will gave the Gaul to stand in front of cameras and say to the voters “We must vote to remove because, as you all know, we are the party that believes in the .... RULE OF LAW!”

Yes, they heap praise upon weakness, hoping to cultivate more of it. “See how nice we are to ‘bipartisanship’?”

Repubs have two choices when dealing with the media, they can win ugly or lose graciously. Bush is being praised for being gracious.

GHWB’s memorial service was quite a contrast to President Reagan’s. I remember President Reagan’s casket staying in the Capital rotunda for many hours after the scheduled closing time because of the large number of people waiting to get in. Reagan’s funeral procession was packed with people along the entire length of the route in California on the way to the Preidential library where he was buried.

“Clinton only got 43% of the vote in 1992 and 49.2% of the vote in 1996...”

PDJT: 62,985,106 votes (45.9%) EV 306. More than the Bent One’s ‘92 total

SWMNBN: 65,853,625 votes (48.0%) EV 232. Less than the Bent One’s ‘96 total

So a candidate can still win with less than 50%! Sometimes a lot less.

The Bushes were and are decent and honorable men. They just had some funny ideas about what was best for the country.

Yes and worse. Calling Bush a war hero is sickening. Bush was NEVER wounded in action. He never called in and adjusted airstrikes with a bullet through his chest, knowing full well he was dying. One of my 1LT’s did, and; he basically told the FAC-”I’ll do my best until I die.” I was glad I spoke to his mother some years back plus my top NCO did.

Not only did the Bushes never fight back (especially GW)
but they were piss poor party loyalists, as well. It
was about the family, first, last, always and that was
pretty rich considering Nixon had made B41 the RNC
Chairman.

No, neighbor. Bush was not an honorable man. Even if he did some honorable acts, he did some so heinous they overshadow the good.

Well, I think all our WWII vets were heroes. My dad was in the artillery in the South Pacific. Wasn't nice, wasn't easy. He never took a bullet either, thank God, although he had two bouts of malaria.

The liberals and the Bushes
(I repeat myself) both hate Trump for different reasons. The liberals hate him for knocking Hillary off of her broom stick

The Bushes hate him for stopping a Bush dynasty in it’s track by destroying Jeb. They wanted to be the Kennedys.

But they’re not finished. Everyone knows George P. will run for governor. And he will probably win since Texas is slowly turning purple.
