Ever since we spent a few years in Belgium I have mayonnaise with my fries instead of ketchup. But please don’t hate me for being un-American, or something.

Remember, I think it was back in the ‘80’s, when the U.S.school lunch program classified ketchup as a vegetable? Must have been under a Republican administration, because I remember the press went wild. (Or maybe it was during a Democrat admin, and it was we, who went wild...been so long ago, I’ve forgotten).

Try trader joe’s organic ketchup—better than Heinz, and cheaper with no high fructose corn syrup.

Filipinos eat mayo on hotdogs. Banana ketchup on everything else.

When I was a teen, there was a ketchup called Brook’s Chili Pepper. It wasn’t spicy at all, and I liked it. Much better than the store brand my mother bought. Hunts makes a good ketchup. Delmonte’s is too sour.
