He branded the probe a political stunt designed to divert attention from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the election.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't believe that. But, the democrats now have the power to stop any house investigations which would shed light on all of the democrats' crimes.

The senate is another story, and democrats would have done the same in the senate if they had won power there too.

No doubt, Nadler and democrats will be WASTING a lot of taxpayer money and lots of their time on investigations that target ONLY republicans. There is no such thing as investigations of democrat crimes by democrat lawmakers.
