Piers Morgan: You’ve hired me before, Mr President, so hire me again [as Chief of Staff] ...
The Daily Mail ^ | December 11, 2018 | Piers Morgan

Full title: You’ve hired me before, Mr President, so hire me again. I’m the one person whose reputation can’t be tarnished by becoming your Chief of Staff and I’m perfectly qualified for the job!

Dear Mr President,

I wish to formally apply to be your new Chief of Staff.

You might not immediately recognize what qualities I have for such a massive job in your administration, especially following a hugely respected war hero like General John Kelly.

But the key thing is to have someone at your side that understands you, has known you a long time, likes you and commands your respect.

When you made me your first Celebrity Apprentice a decade ago, you told me in the live NBC finale: ‘Piers, you’re a vicious guy. I’ve seen it. You’re tough. You’re smart. You’re probably brilliant, I’m not sure. You’re certainly not diplomatic. But you did an amazing job and you beat the hell out of everybody - you’re my Celebrity Apprentice.’

Let’s be honest, what more could you possibly want from your Chief of Staff? You could have been talking about yourself!

Let’s also be honest about something else: nobody else is exactly storming the ramparts of the White House demanding you hire them for the toughest job in world politics.

I would laugh about this, but in TrumpWorld, anything is possible. Mr. Trump himself comes from the ShowBiz segment of society. The Press would go necessarily Ape-Sh*t!
Prime Minister May would finally have something to chortle about after that Brexit Slap-Down ordeal is over.

If I were the President, I might hire Stormy Daniels as Chief of Staff before Piers Morgan. Better to have a horse face than horses a$$.

Piers "Baby Milk Plant" Morgan would jump at the chance to become relevant again. But, that ship has sailed.

I think Rudy would be great as CoS his organisational skills are amongst the greatest we’ve seen in a century.

Perhaps Trump feels he needs his legal expertise more to the fore though, which is understandable

I am going to take a step back from the typical knee reactions and state, lets put politics aside for a moment, I know it is difficult.

Piers is tough, he doesn’t let bullshit slide

He’s very loyal to Donald Trump, something we can’t say about the GOPee

He seems to be on top of things

He is very smart (even though I don’t agree with his politics, especially gun control, which oddly enough he doesn’t preach about like he used to)

If he can put his own personal politics aside, he might actually be great at this.

I think Rudy is too old.

The COS job is basically a 24/7 job (particularly in the Trump administration). It would kill Rudy.

I heard Kimberly Guilfoyle’s name mentioned somewhere this morning. I rolled my eyes thinking “God, please, no.” but somehow, I couldn’t discount the possibility....

Any good recently retired O6’s or O5’s out there?

Retired Generals are ok but the military may have worked them a bit into the “toast” catagory.
