New York Attorney Gen.-elect Letitia James says she plans to launch sweeping investigations into President Donald Trump, his family and "anyone" in his circle who may have violated the law once she settles into her new job next month.
"We will use every area of the law to investigate President Trump and his business transactions and that of his family as well," --SNIP-- "We want to investigate anyone in his orbit who has, in fact, violated the law," said James, who was endorsed by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Investigate her right back. I guarantee that it would take about 20 minutes of serious investigation to find the first evidence of Letitia James breaking the law. Probably take a couple of years to catalogue all of it. Get to work on her.
I did not realize an Attorney General could investigate an uncharted crime without permission from a governor. She is going fishing and that can not be allowed.

I think the Trump family should take all their holdings and real estate in New York, sell them and move their business to Florida and Texas. No state tax and much less bull.

Call it the "throw the first stone" doctrine. I am getting quite tired of prosecutors setting themselves up as little dictators to determine who we can have as legislators and President.
Giving prosecutors absolute immunity was a very bad idea by the Supreme Court.
I don’t see how any of this can be legal. The government can’t just investigate anyone it wants to destroy for personal reasons.
