This goes to the 5th Circuit Appeals now, probably will be stayed but could be heading soon to the Supreme Court again. I don’t see a different result. Roberts has turned even more left since Trump got in. Probably will join the liberals 5-4.

Roberts declared it a tax. Tax was removed.

Roberts was the one that said it was a tax. So if their is no tax, he has no grounds.

Obamacare Core Provisions Ruled Unconstitutional by Judge

Texas and an alliance of 19 states argued to the judge that they’ve been harmed by an increase in the number of people on state-supported insurance rolls. They claimed that when Congress repealed the tax penalty last year, it eliminated the U.S. Supreme Court’s rationale for finding the ACA constitutional in 2012.

Looks like Trump can trade an Obamacare fix (on his terms) for a Wall.

We don’t need no stinkin’ Constitution, we won the election and now control the House. You people need to surrender to us until the 2020 when our ballot harvesting will paper up the overthrow of Constitutional Republic governance and give us complete control of our government. Thanks to Google and Facebook, we know who you are and where you live. We will come by and round you up when we get around to it. And, thanks to the local Women’s Republican clubs for their full support.

Nice that it’s not just a couple states. Wonder if others will join on appeal.

SCOTUS ruled it a tax under IRS jurisdiction. The President got rid of it.

People around here tend to exaggerate and assume the worst about Roberts. He’s still way better than any of the liberals on the court.
