Poland has granted asylum to a mother and her 2-year-old daughter who fled Norway after child services tried to remove the child from the mother’s care based on what she says are false allegations of drug abuse.
European family rights activists are rejoicing after Silje Garmo and her daughter, Eira, were granted asylum by Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.
The two had fled Norway because the mother was trying to retain custody of Eira as Norway’s controversial child services agency, Barnevernet, tried to take the child away from her mother in 2014, based of unfounded claims made by the father of Garmo’s first child.
There are other stories about the same sort of thing.
They are horrific.
It sounds in this case that the parents interviewed are Christian, although nobody comes right out and says so. Probably if they did, they’d lose custody forever.

Being Western Europe, most likely they were ready to take her 2 year old daughter away because she, the mom, didn’t like the idea of a grade school boy getting to bang the kid on a regular basis.
Don’t know for sure, but I suspect it was something close to that.

Apparently they have a very advanced birth control program. :)
Stories that the media do not want to cover. This is a well-known story in Poland, while press agencies completely ignored it, and foreign media also do not mention it.
The reason are often absurd, I have heard similar stories from Germany, Netherlands and the UK as well. Recently even the EU parliament made a statement about German child service.
They kidnap a child and might hand over to homosexuals or Muslims. Even if decision would be revoked later you know that your child might be abused.
