President Donald Trump has solidified his suggestion that the U.S. military will build the wall along the southern border, as the chances of Congress passing funding for the project by the Dec. 21 deadline shrinks.
“Because of the tremendous dangers at the Border, including large scale criminal and drug inflow, the United States Military will build the Wall!” Trump wrote in a Dec. 19 tweet.
The Pentagon has backed Trump, acknowledging there is a legal option to use military funds for border barriers, although also saying there’s no plan in place to do so.
“To date, there is no plan to build sections of the wall,” Pentagon spokesman Army Lt. Col. Jamie Davis said in a Dec. 12 statement, CNBC reported. “However, Congress has provided options under Title 10 U.S. Code that could permit the Department of Defense to fund border barrier projects, such as in support of counter-drug operations or national emergencies.”
Trump has asked Congress for $5 billion for the wall, but has faced a unified opposition from the Democrats and even from some Republicans.

If he can do it that’s good for the country as someone else pointed out if you do it without making a law then the Democrat president that follows him can just dismantle it. There are a lot of flaws in not going through Congress and using public pressure to achieve an agenda. I fear the Supreme Court won’t uphold this. One reason is it looks like a fallback strategy.
IMO, it is up to The Deplorables to have Trump’s back and to “demand” vocally that The Wall get built immediately or the Yellow Vests of the USA will be in DC and anywhere political hacks are hiding out and plotting their corruption.

The Democrat President will make a law or well they don’t even need to follow the law and knock it down anyways. Only Republican Presidents need to follow the law to the ‘T’ and need the approval of every single traffic court Judge.

This will get him impeached and removed. It’s called misappropriation of funds. Trump cannot divert military funds for this type of project without congressional approval.
I'd put a bounty on them and pay off local LEO to call ICE without notifying their superiors. Cash transactions, ICE officers would carry cash to pay off LEOs. Fight corruption with corruption.

There border is extremely porous and we know chinese and iranians have used it to illegally enter here and disappear.
He sure as sh1t can do it. Fedgov is actually tasked to gurd the borders and he directs the military. Its not a declaration of war so no approval by congress needed. Securing the borders is part of his job, and the military is responsible for keeping the country safe. We have enemies and peoples who have zero respect for our laws and borders and we need to shut this down. These people come here and infect us and rape and murder us.
