President Donald Trump vowed Thursday not to sign any Democrat funding bills unless it included money for border security.
“What they are just beginning to realize is that I will not sign any of their legislation, including infrastructure unless it has perfect Border Security,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
It is unclear whether Trump was again promising a partial government shutdown on Friday despite the Senate passing a continuing resolution on Wednesday or whether he was referring to upcoming funding battles in 2019 after Democrats take the House.
Trump accused Democrats of “putting politics over country” when it came to border security.
He did not comment on the continuing resolution passed by the Senate on Wednesday night to keep the government open.
Conservatives spent most of Wednesday begging the president to fight for border wall funding, even if it meant a partial shutdown of the government.

If the economy is still firing it will be tough to beat him. But if that sputters and the Wall doesn’t materialize, I think you’re right.
I tried calling the WH yesterday, and couldn’t get thru - line was constantly busy. Not sure if that’s normal or not ...

I’m trying to keep up with the class on this Wall War, but it’s not easy. I think I hear Mr. Trump say one thing, and then the opposite thing happens. I suppose the whole process is not yet over.
President Trump, just let em pile up on a corner of your desk...collecting dust.
Use them as paperweights or toys. Maybe even make paper airplanes outta them.
The time is now for the POTUS to go full “Nagan” on em.

That goes without saying. President Trump can kiss 2020 goodbye if he doesn’t veto this spending bill.
He should call them out BY NAME, not just refer to them as nameless, faceless ‘Democrats’. That just makes it sound like a ‘partisan’ issue and people will ignore it. But if you turn up the heat to ‘BOIL’ by calling them out personally, people will pay attention...................
“Border Security” is exactly what Obama gave us. It’s BS dodge language.
If Trump released the names of the congressmen that used the sexual abuse slush fund, then he would be removing the sword hanging over their head that is being used to control them.

If the economy sputters?? Think back to 2006 when the Democrats took Congress while W was still President. That is where we are today. The Rats are going to make sure the economy sputters . . . just you watch.
