As I have watched MSM and especially FOX it appears they have all turned anti Trump and present increasingly negative remarks, people and predictions. Several republicans are posturing for a primary challenging position opposing Trump for the nomination for 2020. Linda Gram and Rubio have joined Flake. I am still waiting for Mittens to pair up with Ryano again and at least be critical of Trump if not run in the primary again. Many republicans smell blood in the water around the WALL.

Trump just showed us that he is willing to piss on federal law and the constitutional separation of powers to get his way. Am I supposed to just let that slide? Should I just ignore that the man just attempted to usurp the legislative authority of congress because he has an R next to his name? (not the congress has the first clue what to do with their authority, but that's another discussion)

If I wanted a president keen on executive overreach and likes to rule by fiat, I would've voted for zero or cankles.

It's sad. I initially thought he was more genuine than this. He's just another politician now.

We are learning how difficult (impossible?) it is to overcome the authoritarian ruling class once they are established.

It was hoped that it would never happen here in the United States. Our government of checks and balances was designed to prevent it.

Unfortunately, it appears that it has succumbed to the same evils that all governments have succumbed to in all of human history. Lets pray that God still sees some worthiness in this once great country and shows us the way.
