A nonprofit run by state lawmakers to raise scholarship money for needy minority students spends most of the cash on its lavish annual soiree — including $6,000 on limos — and gave out no grants the last two years, The Post has learned.

The New York State Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators organizes a “Caucus Weekend” — a series of workshops, concerts and parties — in Albany every February for minority members of the Assembly and the Senate.

The group charges sponsors up to $50,000 for a chance to party with lawmakers at events that have included Grammy Award-winning rappers and high-profile speakers such as Hillary Clinton and Jesse Jackson.

The Black and Puerto Rican liberal socialist elitists live the lavish life on the backs of their uneducated brothers and sisters.

Assemblywoman Latrice Walker, a Brooklyn Democrat, said through a spokesman that she “does not have any knowledge of the matter.”

State Sen. Leroy Comrie, a Queens Democrat and second-ranking board executive, did not return phone calls and e-mails. Queens Assemblywoman Michele Titus, the former chairwoman in 2015-16, did not return messages seeking comment.

So what we have here is a flock of “Minority Sgt. Shultz’s.” Seems that amnesia is a minority disease among Legislators today.

Legislators spent big on lavish fundraisers and THEMSELVES all over the place.

What else is new.

You mean to tell me that Big Government is corrupt and completely immersed in self interest and greed??? Really? I thought that was only Big Corporations.

Got news for you, Sonny:

- Big Corporations will take what you give them.

- Big Government will take what you have REGARDLESS of what you give them and will PUT YOU IN JAIL of you don't.

The Delusional Lying Left has succeeded in confusing many about who the really Bad Guy is here. Big, Mostly Unconstitutional Federal Government is the greatest threat to our freedoms, peaceful society, prosperity, values, and way of life that any entity within or without.

I would think so after reading up on the RICO laws. Especially if they continue to hold these functions without awarding what they are designed to provide, grants to blacks & Puerto Ricans.

Most non-profits are private clubs run for the benefit of members on the taxpayers dime...on the thin excuse of 'charity'... Parties, balls, trips etc... all ‘tax deductible’...

Example?

Look at the millions written off by companies and 'stars' for the press' White House Correspondents’ Dinner... AND HOW ITTY BITTY THE ‘DONATIONS’ were that went to journalism students. And that's the tip of the iceberg.

The non-profit tax scam for liberal 'elites' is the equivalent of middle class families 'writing off' the costs of a child's wedding and all annual home parties by agreeing to donates bride's maids dresses and un-used napkins to Good Will.

Jesse Jackson and Hillary 'wrote the book' on non-profit tax evasion ... all 'legal' - - but only for corrupt liberal 'elites'...

They’ve already been bought and paid for with a life time of liberal education. Why waste good money already spent?

Seems that amnesia is a rampant minority disease that has afflicted New York State Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators, a nonprofit run by Democrat state lawmakers of color. The MO is to shakedown deep-pocket companies claiming they give scholarship money to needy minority students.

The evidence shows they spent most of the cash on lavish annual soirees — $500,000 in the 2015 – 2016 fiscal year on items like food, and rap music, and $6,000 on limos for themselves. They gave out no grants the last two years, The Post has learned.

The Democrat flock of “Minority Sgt. Shultz’s.”

Assemblywoman Latrice Walker, a Brooklyn Democrat, said through a spokesman
that she “does not have any knowledge of the matter.”

State Sen. Leroy Comrie, a Queens Democrat and second-ranking
board executive, did not return phone calls and e-mails.

Queens Democrat Assemblywoman Michele Titus, the group's former
chairwoman in 2015-16, did not return messages seeking comment.

The New York State Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators epitomizes the liberals beating the drums......
all too willing to affirm they're “for their fellow-man” ........ and hoping like hell to make a buck on it.
