AFGE President Cox to President Trump: “Sign this bill, end this shutdown, and stand up for America’s workforce.”

WASHINGTON – Democrats plan to officially introduce legislation to reopen the federal government at the start of the 116th Congress. The funding measure funds six of the seven remaining appropriations bills through the remainder of fiscal year 2019. The legislative package also includes a Continuing Resolution (CR) until February 8 for the Department of Homeland Security and a 1.9% pay adjustment for federal workers.

“We fully support the House Democrats’ plan to end the shutdown and reopen the government,” said American Federation of Government Employees National President J. David Cox, “I urge the Senate to follow suit and immediately put this plan on President Trump’s desk for signature.”

And there’s the best reason for Trump to NOT cave in to the Dims and the Unions.

Trump won’t be hurting his base.

So F’em!

Calling gummint goldbricks ‘America’s workforce’ is like calling a tapeworm ‘your favorite traveling companion.’

If SCOTUS upholds DACA then it gives Trump the power to eliminate federal unions. There is no way they should have collective bargaining and the benefits of selective service.

"AFGE President Cox to President Trump: “Sign this bill, end this shutdown, and stand up for America’s workforce.”"

Uh, that would be the private sector working man that pays your salaries, Mr. Cox. And no, caving in on the wall and increasing Federal spending will not help those in the private sector.

This mustn’t be the Union which represents CBP employees. If it were, they would be supporting the border wall and securing CBP employees’ safety.

The Democratics would rather hire more border agents vs. using the existing agents more efficiently.

So if JFK used an executive order to allow federal workers to unionize, couldn’t Pres. Trump repeal that executive order with another executive order?

Talk about a conflict of interest.

Even FDR said it was a conflict of interest and Fed Unions should not be allowed.

Why yes, that is pretty bad.

You should have said "I am starting to want to see too many people hanged."
