U.S. issues China travel advisory amid increased tensions

The U.S. State Department on Thursday renewed its warning for U.S. citizens traveling in China to exercise increased caution due to “arbitrary enforcement of local laws” amid heightened diplomatic tensions over the arrest in Canada of a Chinese technology company executive.

The updated travel advisory maintains the warning at “Level 2” but also warns about extra security checks and increased police presence in the Xinjiang Uighur and Tibet Autonomous Regions.

The advisory follows the detentions by Chinese authorities in December of Canadians Michael Kovrig, a former diplomat and an adviser with the International Crisis Group (ICG) think-tank, and businessman Michael Spavor. China says both men were suspected of endangering state security. …

Or maybe it’s the H1 virus that is being passed along by the pigs scrambling all over Hong Kong. Maybe they are afraid that all those de-crossed churches will let loose a flood of zombie-Christian followers that will swarm and attack Americans. Yikes! You never know!

Ah, that's what has been reported by CNN. I'm still trying to reconcile the fact that Donald Trump is a Russian Spy, and how absolutely wonderful that John McCain was. Obviously, I'm a little confused. CNN and WaPo needs to clairfy their reporting.

Well, we are going to get dragged into yet another war. It's almost as if fighting seven simultaneous wars just isn't enough...

The biggest misconception that all the neocons has is the belief that China will allow themselves to be dragged into a conventional war.

Big Mistake. You fight with China, and expect to see LA, NY, Washington DC, Houston, Chicago and Miami radioactive. China WILL go nuclear.



War is never a good thing. Especially, you must not pick on people that have nuclear weapons.

War, no I don’t want War. What are you talking about? China is aggressive toward all of it’s neighbors in the region. Ask Taiwan if they feel menaced or Japan. China has been building up it’s military for some reason. Why would they do that? Self defense? Think.

USA used to have a civilian defense program back in the 60s. The maps we saw then, showed that regardless of targets, the entire USA would be covered with radiation within 24 hrs.

The Government has bunkers and they are well stocked. They quit spending money on civil defense preparations. Russia and China however have recently had drills for people to go to their public protection sites.

When we looked at the Govt. websites about 10 years ago, to see what had changed since the 60s, there was nada. Had to do a search and print out old 60s brochures to refresh our memory.

USA Citizens are on their own. They really don’t want true Americans to survive. May the Congress Critters get their just punishment sooner rather than later.

About 7 years ago, the Chinese teacher at my daughter’s school offered to supervise a student trip to China. My reaction was not no but hell no, never will I give one red cent to Communist China. Other parents must have felt the same. Our Obama State Department was completely inept at getting anyone out of anyplace and a bunch of capitalist’s kids would be a tempting target for a depraved government such as China’s. Lots of reasons to be very wary of all the Chinese say and do. Power and money is all that motivates them.
