The Nation is being held hostage by this bastard Powell. Fire this punk he cost the economy billions with his unjustified meddling.
_____________________________
The hostage-taking will not cease until the President gets rid of the Fed and fires the cabal bankers it comprises. He needs to restore the gold standard and let free market factors determine the rates. Now, big shot bankers get rich doing nothing but manipulating the money supply. Think how nice it would be if you could go print as much paper money as you like when you like. It really is the greatest of grand scams that they created and have been running since 1913. Congress turned the whole kit and kaboodle over to them in 1913 and they have never audited them once. How stupidly crazy is that? It tells you who wields the supreme power of the purse.

Buy low, sell high. Works every time it's tried.

Yeah -- that's the slogan. Even the pro's struggle to beat the indexes. Much better to periodically invest say 10-20% of one's salary over decades and just leave it alone to grow. Most people - myself included - know it is quite a struggle to save that much. It was a long hard road for me that finally paid off. In the early years I found it hard to save anything but I began increasing my savings percentage every year until it was about 25% when I retired.

The DJ has to surge 2000 more points before I break even. The stock market has not been good to me.

Beating the jobs expectation is excellent, but I am tempered by the notion that many of these were probably seasonal hires, correct?

I look at the economy like Omaha beach. The only way to survive is to go forward. Pull out all the stops, open all the valves and go for it THERE IS NOTHING TO LOSE.

You mean cutting spending and abolishing worthless agencies, freezing federal hiring and getting rid of “baseline budgeting?” Is that what you had in mind?

6,000 new jobs per State. Yes, yes, I know. But that’s an incredible number.

I just want to know how the numbers were goosed...

Spending under control is the issue, the gubment is already getting record tax revenue but debt keeps rising, the congresscritters can and always do spend more and more, that is how they keep their jobs
