The White House on Friday released the border briefing President Trump tried to get Democratic leaders to see during a meeting earlier this week, saying the public should see the information behind the president’s case for why he wants a border wall.
The briefing, which was to be given by Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, details increases in drug seizures, arrests of criminals and the surge of illegal immigrant children and families who the administration says are overwhelming agents.
But attendees said Democrats’ top leaders interrupted Ms. Nielsen and wouldn’t let her give the briefing.
“Some of those present did not want to hear the presentation at the time, and so I have instead decided to make the presentation available to all members of Congress,” Mr. Trump said in a letter to lawmakers Friday, with the briefing slides attached.

Hopefully the briefing also included the cost that American taxpayers have to bear for those illegal aliens already in the country.
In other words, “don’t confuse me with the facts”

Is there any reason as Commander and Chief that he couldn't reassign troops from Syria, Afghanistan, and the Korean DMZ (etc ad nauseum) to the border? How about a base in Honduras and Guatemala? Better to provide jobs there, keep an eye on those countries, and provide job opportunities and some income for the residents.
President Trump should do a NATIONALLY TELEVISED MESSAGE ON THIS SUBJECT...........................LIKE ON THE STATE OF THE UNION NIGHT!!!!!!!!!
The short version is the dems are obstructing the government from securing the southern border thereby making life more dangerous, sometimes lethal, for American citizens.
The even shorter version is the dems are public enemy number one. Domestic terrorists.
Pointless really the Rats want open borders and the mask is off those are thousands of Rat votes pouring across the border every month.can we stop any pretense now?

Glad he released it. Its very high level, and only took a minute to digest. Pelosi and Schumer could have given it the attention it deserves. Scary we are still forced to release over 90% of detainees.
Move the UN from NY to Honduras.

Even shorter version, they are obstructing and biding time until they can get enough "not Americans" here to steam roll over Americans. They are almost there.
One wonders if all this obstructionism isn’t communist backed and financed. Apparently, Russia and China are not America’s biggest enemies.
Thankfully we still have methods to get news to people as the corrupt media stopped providing that service.
