Do you think that the mainstream media is so obsessed over President Donald Trump that they neglect a lot of the news that they should be covering? Congratulations! Even a former NBC News correspondent who quit his job last week agrees with you.
The correspondent in question is William Arkin who left NBC News due to his disgust that the MSM in general is so involved in the "Trump Circus" that they are failing to cover important news especially involving foreign affairs. He explained the reasons for his departure to Brian Stelter on CNN's Reliable Sources on Sunday.

At least it is refreshing that one reporter is able to step back and see the havoc that the MSM have inflicted upon their own news reporting.

The only difference is they can’t write a single good thing about President Trump and they fawned over obozo and his husband.
I think that most of the media has been so steeped in the Trump Derangement Syndrome, they would have no idea how to formulate, write, and/or report any other news.
I think their brains are washed to the extent that no matter what the story, they would try and find a way to link it - in a shady way - to Trump.
There seems to be an ongoing belief what whomever in the media that delivers the coup de grace against Trump will win a Kewpie Doll, or something. They’d be the biggest hero (to the left) of anyone in history.
There is probably no “classic” journalists left who would recognize any happen that didn’t include Trump, as “worthy” of being “news”.
You know that up and coming journalists see the Trump meme as the “way it’s done”, and it becomes an integral part of their training.
And...if they succeed, or even it Trump just times out after two terms, any successor (conservative/republican) future holder of the office, will get the same treatment.
That’s why Trump must endure, and stand strong...to show them it won’t work.

President Trump is the key to MSM profits. He sells newspapers, MAGAzines, eyeballs, and viewership. Trump is MSM gold.

The MSM is highly Anti-Trump and blow EVERYTHING out of proportion. This is true.
However, all MSM ignores TONS of relevant news all the time. It seems like the recent media tactic is find 1 outrage, and blow the living crap out of it all day long, and multiple days if possible. Ignore all other news, focus on 1 outrage.
I hate it. OANN is the only media outlet that actually covers multiple news events.
