As much as they hate to admit it now, national Democrats were against illegal immigration before they were for it.

I cannot begin to imagine how it is humanly possible for Trump to even begin to possibly maybe in a billion years lose this debate. The facts on our side are breathtakingly overwhelming.
And I say that even though I place almost ZERO faith in the ignorant pig-dog US voter...
The same voters who put Hussein in office TWICE, Clinton in office TWICE, and have given the dems control of the House for something like 55 of the last 75 years.
Even with an electorate so stunningly ignorant as that, Trump cannot possibly lose this debate.
Even brain dead retards like Biden would win this one if he were on our side.
Just lip service from all of them. They knew full well nothing was going to get done.
That’s what Trump should do tonight. Just show a compilation of all these directly from their own mouths and then just say “Know what? I completely agree with these folks”. lol
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.
The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.

There was supposed to be an immigration bill to go along with it and the immigration bill was passed by the bipartisan senate with 65 cloture votes and it was called Hagel-Martinez.
But then Hastert invoked the Hastert Rule and refused to let the senate bill onto the floor of the House for a vote. And it died.
The dems know that they were lied to and the GOP was able to get the Secure Fence Act and the Real ID Act enacted. But the dems learned their lesson will never allow another stand alone border fence bill to pass.
The dems will support more fencing because they voted for the 2013 immigration bill that had money for more border fencing, but they won't vote for a stand alone fence bill.
Except that this is not a "debate" and at least in the short run "facts don't matter" to most of the electorate. What matters are the ideas which people choose to believe.
A large number of people must make different choices and act differently than before. Persuading them to do so requires a lot more than rational arguments and facts.

I haven’t seen Mr. Trumps Oval Office speech, but I thought he should have played all of these, since he had the multi-MSM national audience.
