If this is true ... then Trump must be OK with Mueller to have selected as an AG someone who is best friends with the special counsel who Trump says is on a witch hunt. :-)

I'm going to bookmark this thread for handy reference -- because I know I'm going to need it. Six months from now, when a bunch of tiresome and predictable FR lunatics start posting zany claims that Barr is a "Deep State operative out to destroy Trump," I'm going to post a link back here and ask the obvious question: Then why wasn't his nomination withdrawn on January 9th?
