White pelicans? I lived in Kansas, but never saw any white pelicans until we drove through Utah, I believe. Lots of brown pelicans in Oregon, now...not very many 40 years ago.

Apparently in America you need papers to move a pelican across state lines, but not to enter the U.S. across international lines.
