GUATEMALA-MEXICO BORDER – Approximately 1,000 Central American migrants in the newest caravan have begun the process of crossing into Mexico from Guatemala, a Mexican immigration official stationed at the border between the two countries told Fox News on Thursday night. A new process instituted by Mexico means that migrants will have to wait five days for their paperwork to be processed before entering the country. Julia Escalon, 43, of the Honduran city of San Pedro Sula, rested under the shade of a tree on the Guatemalan side, cradling her 2-year-old daughter in her arms. Escalon brought along a total of four daughters on the trip. "In San Pedro, we have nowhere to live. We can't even afford to rent a place," Escalon told The Associated Press. "I'm going to fulfill my dream and get to the United States."
However, that may not be easy. The border city of Tijuana was saturated by the first caravan in November, testing the patience of the city's residents, and Mexico's new government has since agreed to house third-country migrants while their asylum claims are heard in the United States.

I’m going to make this a two-fer. Here’s a short article about a coyote dump of a group of 247, most of which needed medical care. If we consider that each person was taken to the hospital, and a minimum charge to the govt of $1,000 per person seen, that’s $247,000 for the one group, on just the one night, plus any continuing care.
If our BP are running an endless stream of people to the hospital, how can they patrol the border, too?

I am sure Trump wants Mexico to let them come so the optics and stories next week will be all about the invasion.
Pelosi will have to admit there is a big problem and the news networks will be covering it since it will be such a great story.
I can see the polls shifting to Trump from those who drank the Dem Coolaid that a wall isn’t needed, and there is no border crisis.
Other than Fox, I don’t think the networks will show much of it.
Hmm...you may be on to something. If I recall correctly, Trump and the new Mexican president get along, and Mexico lately doesn’t seem to be happy with the illegal immigration situation either now.
The networks covered the current border chaos and the new Caravan probably be larger if Mexico allows unimpeded migration of illegals to cross Mexico.
I am sure this is well funded and buses will be providing transit to our border.
The public opinion will change and demand a wall.
New poll shows Trump Latino support at record high, and I believe blacks don’t like more low wage competition coming in to take their jobs. These two key Dem voting groups could upset Dems plans to import more voters at the expense of American minorities.
Like they all peacefully submitted paperwork, then waited for approval to rush the border gates and invade.

We were told for years that there were 11 million foreign nationals in our country unlawfully. It was a lie.

And 22,000,000 undoubtedly, is under estimated as well.
That's more people than the ENTIRE state of Florida, and darn near as many as the whole state of Texas! An entire large state's worth of foreign nationals who have disrespected our sovereignty and rule of law and are living here illegally, many (most, who really knows?) receiving taxpayer paid for housing, food, medical, dental, legal, schooling and other "welfare."
According to a recent Gallup "World" poll, 158 MILLION people would "immigrate" to the United States if they could.
