CNN guest and radio host Ben Ferguson said Friday that BuzzFeed News “got their brains kicked in” by the Special Counsel’s office over their disputed report on President Donald Trump.
BuzzFeed News reported on Thursday night that former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen told Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s prosecutors that the president had directed him to lie about a potential Trump Tower deal in Moscow during the 2016 election. (RELATED: Mueller’s Office Disputes BuzzFeed’s Report)
Mueller’s office issued a rare statement disputing BuzzFeed’s reporting on Friday:
“BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the Special Counsel’s Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s Congressional testimony are not accurate.”
Ferguson did not hold back on trashing BuzzFeed during a CNN interview shortly after the statement dropped.

You are right. And we need to stop calling them the media. They are the propaganda arm of the democrat party.
Once any media company gets caught in a blatant lie (like this) they have lost all credibility.
Buzzfeed lied so now they are a liar for life. No coming back from that. They should just close up shop and go work at Walmart or something.

I think Mueller is playing cya ahead of a leak investigation. IMO. When the canary quits singing you’re dead. Coal miners have known that for years.

I didn't believe the Cohen story from the get-go because is was from these publicly known liars, Buzzfeed.
The very dishonest nature of lying means you can never trust them again because your wouldn't know if they were lying again or not.

Is Mueller getting some pressure from above? Maybe the Rosenrat has lost control. Whitaker? Fear of Barr?
The entire MSM touting this story as a “bombshell” crashed and burned today. Nolte on twitter said something like the entire media knew it was BS but ran with it anyway because they never expected Mueller’s team to correct.

The entire enemy fake news cartel got slaughtered today. There is no coming back from this by anyone who ran with it,including CNN, MSNBC and every other fake news outlet.
Mueller is terrified there will be an investigation of the leaks emanating from his team.

I hope Buzz Feed has a lot of money. After Trump sues them they will have none.
They are in a hell of a bind. If they made this up they are dead meat in court. If they repeated this false information fed to them by the “deep state” discovery will be most delicious to say the least.
I smell the Clintons in this.
It should be noted that the most damaging revelations about the fake dossier came out yesterday. This was the testimony of Bruce Ohr now released that said he informed all relevant agencies (including James Comey) about the Clinton political connections to the dossier, the financing of the dossier, and its suspected unreliability. The next day this false accusation comes out that blows that off the news. This is not a coincidence.
Today show this morning featured Chuck Todd declaring that Cohen’s being told to lie by President Trump is (paraphrasing) his Waterloo and this very criminal action would bring Trump down.
