Respectfully, I see DACA as a done deal with the widespread public support for it.
Trump will just be giving them something they are surely to get anyway.
And the value of their eventual capitulation on this matter opens the field for all other plays toward the end zone. The real value of your opponents capitulation, after all their credibility has been utterly destroyed...is priceless.
And that’s only if the Democrats are smart enough to TAKE the deal.
If not, our resolve will last years. They will eventually cave with nothing in return.
I dont think the dems will ever take a deal. So offer a new deal every week. $5.3 Billion
$5 Billion
$4.8 Billion
$4.5 Billion
$4.2 Billion
$4 Billion
Six weeks of the dems being unwilling to compromise will make them look bad. Then Trump can declare an emergency and build the wall.
Beat the dems over the head with it.
During the campaign Trump promised to DEPORT them, now you say they're a bargaining chip in a game we have already lost?
That attitude is exactly why we will never get our country back.
I say fight, and if we lose, leave them nothing to reward their treachery, burn the Republican Party to the ground.
Just watched “The Founder”, (the Ray Kroc/McDonald’s story). I see parallels to how Trump has been handling his job. First he trusted his partners, then had disputes over what was good to grow the business, then, finally took the bull by the horn. In the end he took everything from the McDonald brothers including their name. Chuck and Nancy are Dick and Mac McDonald. Beautiful to watch.
